Alexei Kolosov Joins Flyers Training Camp

Philadelphia Flyers goaltending prospect Alexei Kolosov is set to join the team's training camp after initially missing the first week due to undisclosed issues. His agent, Dan Milstein, confirmed that all concerns have been resolved and Kolosov is enthusiastic about joining the team. The 22-year-old Belarusian, who signed his entry-level contract in July 2023, is regarded as one of the top young goaltenders not currently in the NHL. Flyers GM Daniel Briere had urged Kolosov to fulfill his contract. The team recently enhanced its goaltending depth by signing Eetu Makiniemi to a one-year contract. Kolosov is expected to play preseason and AHL games but may return to the KHL if he does not secure an NHL spot.
