Apple Reveals visionOS 26 With Major Upgrades

Apple has announced visionOS 26 for the Vision Pro headset at WWDC 2025, featuring customizable spatial widgets and immersive 180- and 360-degree video content from GoPro, Canon, and Insta360. The Personas avatar feature now offers more lifelike avatars with enhanced facial details, side-profile rendering, and greater customization. Users can experience synchronized spatial activities, such as co-watching or gaming together locally or remotely via FaceTime. The update adds support for PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers and third-party accessories like the Logitech Muse stylus, expanding gaming and creative use. Safari now includes spatial browsing and 'look to scroll', while AI-powered spatial scenes can turn photos into 3D-like environments. VisionOS 26 aligns with Apple's unified OS naming convention and will be available as a free update later this year.
