The Pali Hill bungalow of late actor Dilip Kumar has been redeveloped into a luxurious building, with a sea-view triplex apartment sold for Rs 172 crore to Apco Infratech Private Limited. The triplex spans the 9th, 10th, and 11th floors, covering 9,527 sq ft, and was sold at a rate of Rs 1.62 lakh per sq ft, marking one of the highest per sq ft deals in the area. The transaction involved a stamp duty of Rs 9.3 crore and a registration fee of Rs 30,000. Additionally, the redevelopment project, named 'The Legend', will feature a museum dedicated to Kumar. The property had previously been embroiled in legal disputes before being handed over to Saira Banu in 2017, allowing for the current redevelopment plans. The project is expected to include multiple luxury apartments and is anticipated to generate significant revenue upon completion by 2027.
