NY governor's stepson attacked

Former New York Governor David Paterson and his stepson, Anthony Sliwa, were assaulted by a group of teenagers while walking their dog on the Upper East Side late Friday evening. The attack occurred after Sliwa confronted the teens who were climbing a fire escape. Both Paterson and Sliwa sustained minor injuries, with Sliwa requiring stitches for a cut to his lip. Two boys, aged 12 and 13, have been arrested and charged with gang assault, while a third teen was not charged. Paterson, who is legally blind, described the scene, stating they were significantly outnumbered during the confrontation. The NYPD is seeking additional information about the incident from the public.
