Wisconsin Wellness Campaign Advocates Medical Cannabis

The Indigenous Cannabis Industry Association (ICIA) and the Wisconsin Tribal Task Force on Cannabis have launched the Wisconsin Wellness campaign to advocate for the legalization of medical cannabis in Wisconsin. Kristin White Eagle, a Ho-Chunk Nation legislator, shared personal stories to illustrate the potential positive impacts of legalization. In Idaho, activists are shifting their focus to a non-commercial cannabis legalization initiative for the 2026 ballot after facing challenges in previous medical marijuana campaigns. Despite Idaho's stringent marijuana laws, public support for medical cannabis remains high.
