Weekend Rollover Crashes Cause Fatalities and Injuries

Several rollover crashes occurred in separate locations over the weekend. In Peoria, Arizona, Elizabeth Paola Standefer and her 8-year-old son died in a single-vehicle crash when their SUV rolled over on State Route 74. In Las Vegas, a black Toyota rolled over after colliding with a Chevy sedan, resulting in minor injuries to the Toyota's driver. Another rollover crash in Colorado Springs involved two vehicles and caused damage to a street light and fire hydrant, though no hospitalizations were reported. Additionally, a rollover crash near Interstate 25 in Colorado Springs required the extrication of one individual who was hospitalized, and traffic was diverted from the site. Lastly, a debris spill in East Rutherford led to the closure of southbound lanes on Route 17, causing significant traffic disruptions.
