Akasa Air Adds 28th Boeing 737 MAX, Plans Fleet Expansion

Akasa Air has expanded its fleet to 28 aircraft with the recent addition of a Boeing 737 MAX 8-200, delivered from Seattle to Bengaluru via Iceland and Kuwait. Since launching in August 2022, the airline has pursued disciplined growth, emphasizing reliability, efficiency, and service excellence. Akasa has placed a historic order for 226 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, with 198 yet to be delivered across the next seven years, supporting its strategy to develop a comprehensive air network in India and internationally. The fleet expansion aims to create one of the youngest and most efficient fleets globally, with the 737 MAX offering improved fuel efficiency and reduced noise.
