Two Men Escape ICE Facility During Power Outage

Two men, Joel Jose Gonzalez-Gonzalez and Geilond Vido-Romero, escaped from the ICE detention facility in Aurora, Colorado, during a power outage on Tuesday night. The escape went unnoticed until after midnight, with local police not being informed until 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. ICE claims they notified local authorities immediately, but Aurora Police dispute this, stating they were only informed hours later. Both men were detained pending deportation proceedings and remain at large.
