Wuxi Opens International Month, Cherry Blossom Week

Wuxi, located in Jiangsu province, has officially launched its 2025 International Month and International Cherry Blossom Viewing Week, attracting visitors from around the globe. The events, highlighted by the city's beautiful cherry blossoms, include the 'Dialogue with Europe' initiative, celebrating the 50th anniversary of China-EU diplomatic relations with various sub-events focused on trade, culture, and tourism. Mayor Zhao Jianjun emphasized the importance of foreign enterprises, particularly from Europe, in Wuxi's economic development and commitment to fostering a welcoming business environment. This year's festival showcases over 30,000 cherry trees at the Yuantouzhu scenic area, and will feature multiple activities including food-tasting events and a cherry blossom-themed fair. The festival, rooted in a Sino-Japanese friendship initiative, aims to enhance international cooperation and cultural exchange. Wuxi continues to strive for deeper integration into global markets and to attract foreign investment through robust policy support and infrastructure development.
