Caroline Waldegrave Joins Celebrity Bake Off

Prue Leith will be temporarily stepping down from her role as a judge on 'The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer', with her close friend Caroline Waldegrave OBE stepping in as her replacement. Caroline, who co-owned Leiths School of Food and Wine with Leith, will join Paul Hollywood along with hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding in the tent. The upcoming series, airing in the spring, features a diverse cast of celebrities including TV presenters like Kate Garraway and Roman Kemp, actors such as Meera Syal and Jim Howick, and comedians like Adam Buxton and Phil Wang. Each episode will have four celebrities competing in the Signature, Technical, and Showstopper challenges to win the title of Star Baker. The show is part of Channel 4's Stand Up To Cancer campaign, raising funds and awareness for cancer research. Despite stepping down from the celebrity edition, Prue will continue her role in the regular and US versions of the show.
