Arsenal Push for Gyokeres Amid Transfer Interest
Arsenal have made Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres their top transfer target as the club seeks to reinforce its attack following another trophyless campaign. Gyokeres, who scored 53 goals this season and helped Sporting win the league, is drawing strong interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea, with Arsenal reportedly leading the race after submitting a lucrative offer and potentially agreeing personal terms. The Swedish forward has remained noncommittal about his future, telling media and teammates that 'nobody can predict the future.' Sporting are open to selling Gyokeres for around £60 million, and Arsenal's new sporting director Andrea Berta is actively pushing for an early agreement. In addition to Gyokeres, Arsenal are monitoring RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko and Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo to strengthen their attacking options. Club co-chair Josh Kroenke has pledged significant investment to end Arsenal's silverware drought next season.
