Idaho Man Charged Manslaughter Cache County Crash Killing Woman, Infant
Nathaniel Stan Haudley-Resendiz, a 21-year-old from Preston, Idaho, has been charged with multiple felonies including two counts of manslaughter after a December 2024 crash in Cache County, Utah, that killed Heather Marshall, 39, and a 9-month-old baby. The crash occurred when Haudley-Resendiz crossed the center divider while driving a 2014 GMC Terrain and collided with a Mazda 3. Investigations revealed Haudley-Resendiz was driving under the influence of THC, speeding, and without a valid driver’s license, while also not wearing a seatbelt. The infant in his vehicle was improperly restrained, and his car had a spare tire on the left rear that was not rated for the speed he was traveling. Additional charges include possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unsafe vehicle, and failure to provide a child restraint device. Haudley-Resendiz is not currently being held in jail, and arraignment dates have not been announced.
