Gloucester Rugby Confirms 19 Player Departures Ahead 2025–26 Season

Gloucester Rugby have announced a significant squad overhaul with 19 players set to depart at the end of the 2024–25 season, including key figures such as Chris Harris, Ruan Ackermann, Freddie Clarke, and Zach Mercer. These experienced players have been central to the club, with Harris representing Scotland and the British and Irish Lions, and Ackermann and Clarke each making over 150 appearances. Other notable exits include international players Albert Tuisue from Fiji and Argentina's Mayco Vivas, as well as academy talents and dual-registered players. Zach Mercer, who joined Gloucester in 2023 aiming to return to England's squad, will reportedly join Toulon after a knee injury curtailed his season.
