Deeptech startup Proxgy has announced that Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane has joined its ongoing $3 million Series A funding round, which also includes notable investors like Nikhil Kamath, Suniel Shetty, and Vinod Duggar. This investment will facilitate Proxgy's global expansion and product innovation, particularly in developing IoT-based safety solutions like SmartHat, Sleefe, and Lockator aimed at enhancing workplace safety for blue-collar workers. Founded in 2020, Proxgy has achieved significant recognition, including an 800% revenue growth in FY24, and aims to disrupt industries such as Oil & Gas and Mining. Rahane expressed his support for Proxgy's mission, emphasizing the importance of discipline and innovation in their products. The startup has previously garnered attention on Shark Tank India and successfully raised funds in a pre-Series A round last year. Proxgy's ambitious plans highlight its commitment to redefining safety and productivity across various industrial sectors.
