Illinois Man Arrested After Drug Chase in Wisconsin

Ivran D. Galmore, a 43-year-old man from Illinois, was arrested in Monroe County, Wisconsin, after leading police on a high-speed chase and being found with over three kilograms (approximately 8.5 pounds) of cocaine and over 30 grams of marijuana, valued at over $300,000. The incident occurred on November 16 when Galmore was stopped for speeding at 100 mph on I-94. After a brief interaction with law enforcement, he fled in his vehicle, leading to a two-mile chase before crashing and fleeing on foot. A K-9 unit assisted in his capture. Galmore faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to deliver cocaine and second-degree reckless endangerment, with a cash bond set at $100,000 due to the severity of the offenses and his prior drug history. The passenger in Galmore's vehicle was injured during the chase and reported that he had grabbed the steering wheel to force the crash in order to avoid involvement in the pursuit.
