Abhimanyu Easwaran Scores 151 in Irani Cup

Abhimanyu Easwaran continued his stellar performance in domestic cricket by scoring his third consecutive first-class century, playing for Rest of India against Mumbai in the Irani Cup. Easwaran's unbeaten 151 off 212 balls was instrumental in reducing the deficit after Mumbai posted a massive 537 in their first innings, aided by Sarfaraz Khan's 222*. With 12 fours and a six, Easwaran's innings helped Rest of India reach 289/4 by stumps on Day 3. Easwaran, competing for a Test opener spot on India's tour to Australia, has consistently impressed selectors with his recent performances, including two centuries in the Duleep Trophy. Despite strong performances, he is yet to make his Test debut, although he has been a part of India's squad in past series. The 29-year-old's form is a strong reminder of his potential as he vies with teammates Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sai Sudharsan for a place in the national team.
