Indiana police have made significant arrests in connection with auto thefts. In Burns Harbor, state troopers arrested Benjamin Vanvynckt, 41, after a high-speed chase involving a stolen Dodge Ram pickup truck. Vanvynckt faces multiple charges, including resisting law enforcement and reckless driving. Meanwhile, in Fishers, police arrested Montez Beech, 22, identified as a suspect in more than five auto theft cases in Hamilton County. Beech, who also had an active warrant in Marion County, was found asleep in a stolen car using drone technology and Flock cameras. He faces charges including unlawful carrying of a handgun, theft, and unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle.
