Midnight Cowboy Musical Premieres April 4 in London

The world premiere of 'Midnight Cowboy – A New Musical' will take place at Southwark Playhouse Elephant from April 4 to May 17, 2025. Directed and choreographed by Nick Winston, the production features EastEnders star Max Bowden as Rico 'Ratzo' Rizzo, Paul Jacob French as Joe Buck, and Tori Allen-Martin as Cass. This adaptation, based on James Leo Herlihy's novel and the acclaimed 1969 film, explores themes of friendship and ambition against the backdrop of New York City. The musical boasts a book by Bryony Lavery and a score by Ivor Novello Award winner Francis “Eg” White, known for his work with artists like Adele and Sam Smith.
