Severe Thunderstorms Hit Vermont, New Hampshire Causing Damage

A frontal system moving into parts of the U.S. Midwest and South is expected to bring isolated showers and thunderstorms, with some storms potentially becoming severe, including damaging winds, large hail, and isolated strong tornadoes, particularly on Tuesday afternoon and evening. Storm Track 8 reports strong storms with gusty winds and hail possible after 8 p.m. in areas near Burlington and Macomb. In northern ArkLaTex, a late-day threat for severe thunderstorms is expected, especially near and north of Interstate-30. Cooler and less humid air will follow the storms, with temperatures dropping into the 30s and 50s through the week, accompanied by mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers.
