Mac DeMarco Releases Single Holy Prepares Global Tour

Mac DeMarco is set to release his album Guitar on August 22, 2025, through his own label, with the new single "Holy" following the lead single "Home." "Holy" is a mellow track featuring a self-shot video of DeMarco walking, mouthing lyrics, and eating an apple, which he described as the best shot after various attempts including wading in the ocean. DeMarco handled nearly every aspect of the album's creation himself, including mixing and video production. He describes Guitar as a true reflection of his current life and looks forward to sharing it through extensive touring across North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond, starting August 29 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Select tour dates will include support from artists on his label, with performances scheduled through May 2026.
