Chicago Man Charged with Armed Drug Sales in Naperville

Deonte Bell, a 23-year-old man from Chicago, was arrested by Naperville police following a two-month investigation into alleged crack-cocaine sales. He faces charges of armed violence and two counts of manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance after allegedly selling cocaine on two separate occasions. During his arrest, Bell was found in possession of a loaded semi-automatic handgun and between one and 15 grams of cocaine. He is currently being held at the DuPage County Jail. The investigation was conducted by the Naperville Police Department's Special Operations Group, emphasizing the ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes in the area.
