Mike Mignola Rules Out Hellboy 3 Sequel

Mignola reflected on his past collaborations with del Toro, expressing satisfaction with their earlier work but acknowledging the complexities of their relationship post-filmmaking. He described the feeling of losing touch with del Toro despite their past closeness, saying, 'I thought we were friends for life, but I’ll never actually see you again.' Mignola also mentioned creative frustrations during the production of Hellboy II: The Golden Army, yet assured that they maintain a good rapport. Ultimately, Mignola has concluded that he is not inclined towards making films, preferring to concentrate on his comic work instead.
