Hallmark Actor Mike Heslin's Husband Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit Over Alleged Negligence at Las Vegas Casino

Mike Heslin, a Hallmark and Lifetime actor known for roles in Lioness and The Holiday Proposal Plan, died suddenly at age 35 due to an unexpected cardiac event. His husband, musician Scotty Dynamo, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Javier's restaurant at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, alleging that staff failed to provide lifesaving aid during Heslin's medical emergency. The lawsuit claims employees blocked CPR attempts, interfered with bystanders trying to help, failed to retrieve an available automated external defibrillator (AED), and even removed witnesses from the premises while threatening arrest. MGM Resorts International, owner of the Aria, has denied the allegations. Dynamo described Heslin as healthy and young with no clear medical explanation for his death and shared personal tributes, including their plans to start a family. The suit seeks damages exceeding $30,000, punitive damages, and funeral expenses, accusing the defendants of negligence, gross negligence, wrongful death, and negligent hiring and training practices.
