Marvel Rivals Launches Season 2.5 With New Skins, Combat Chest, Ultron

Marvel Rivals is launching its Season 2.5 update on May 30, introducing the new Combat Chest mini pass that offers players both free and premium tiers of rewards, including futuristic skins, emotes, MVP animations, and sprays. Notable skins include the Epic rarity X-Tron Strategist Ultron and the Legendary Yggroot Groot, alongside the 'Future Foundation' skins for Mister Fantastic and other members of the Fantastic Four, which are inspired by the sci-fi rebranding from Marvel Comics. The Combat Chest allows players to unlock these cosmetics by playing matches and earning experience, with options to purchase a premium pass or instantly unlock all levels. The 'Future Foundation' skins notably exclude Human Torch, consistent with the comic storyline, and also tease new costumes for Invisible Woman, The Thing, and Spider-Man, who replaced Torch in that era. These updates aim to enhance player customization and celebrate the evolving Marvel Rivals meta with high-tech visual designs and thematic ties to the Marvel universe. While the full set of Future Foundation skins may release gradually, the Season 2.5 update marks a significant content expansion for the game.
