Detroit Man Charged with Murder and Felony Firearm

Desuan Travon Ross, 31, has been charged with first-degree murder and felony firearm in the fatal shooting of his girlfriend, Eboni Robinson, in Detroit on Valentine's Day. The incident occurred near Mumford High School, where an argument in Robinson's car escalated, leading Ross to shoot her multiple times through the driver's side window. After Robinson's vehicle crashed into a house, Ross allegedly fired a rifle at the car, resulting in her death. Following the shooting, Ross barricaded himself inside a home but eventually surrendered to the police. He is currently held without bond and faces a probable cause conference on February 24. If convicted, Ross could face life imprisonment.
