Shooting at Visalia Restaurant Kills One, Injures Two

A fatal shooting occurred early Saturday morning at Sebby's Italian Steakhouse in downtown Visalia, resulting in one death and two others hospitalized. The incident followed a fight inside the restaurant, which operates as a restaurant early in the evening and transitions into a bar later at night. Visalia Police arrested two individuals connected to the shooting and are conducting an ongoing homicide investigation. Despite the restaurant having security measures, the suspect managed to bring a firearm inside, though security staff subdued and detained the suspect until police arrived. In response, the restaurant voluntarily closed for the weekend, but the city issued a cease-and-desist order citing multiple code violations, although the owner disputes any violations.
