Andrew Wesley, a 69-year-old paedophile, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for indecently assaulting two girls in Cambridgeshire between 1998 and 2003. His crimes were brought to light in 2022 when the victims reported the incidents to the police. Similarly, 78-year-old Alan Rutter was sentenced to 19 years for abusing young boys in Easington, where he provided them with alcohol and showed them pornography before the assaults. Rutter was found guilty of 11 charges, including child abduction and sexual activity with a child, and will remain on the sex offenders' register for life. Additionally, Callum Walker, who targeted children as young as 12 between 2018 and 2021, was sentenced after being found guilty of multiple charges, including causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. These cases highlight the ongoing issue of child sexual exploitation and the importance of reporting such crimes.
