During the ongoing 14th Hockey India Junior Men National Championship, teams from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, and Bihar each secured three points by winning their league matches. Notable victories included Maharashtra's overwhelming 17-1 win against Goa and Uttarakhand's 7-5 victory over Chhattisgarh. In a separate tournament, the 4th Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship saw the Services Sports Control Board and Food Corporation of India achieve convincing wins, with scores of 6-0 and 7-0, respectively. The Central Reserve Police Force narrowly defeated the Central Industrial Security Force 4-3, while the Comptroller & Auditor General of India edged out Punjab National Bank 2-1.
