Seattle Brothers Arrested in CID Drug Bust with Weapons, Narcotics
Two brothers, ages 42 and 48, were arrested in Seattle's Chinatown-International District after police uncovered a drug operation running out of a custom auto body garage. Surveillance revealed multiple daily customers purchasing methamphetamine, prompting a search warrant that led to the seizure of 151.7 grams of cocaine, 7.4 grams of methamphetamine, multiple handguns, ammunition, nearly $7,000 in cash, and two digital scales with drug residue. Additionally, a stolen electric bicycle was recovered from the premises. The 48-year-old brother, who owns the business, faces additional charges for unlawfully using the building for drug activities. Several other individuals inside the garage were detained and later released following questioning. Lt. Jim Kelly of the Seattle Police Narcotics Unit stated that the arrests will provide relief to residents and legitimate businesses in the area.
