CBS Resumes Production Amid Los Angeles Wildfires

Amid ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, several Hollywood productions were temporarily halted, impacting shows such as 'Grey’s Anatomy,' 'Hacks,' and 'NCIS.' As conditions improved, CBS announced that four of its shows – 'NCIS,' 'NCIS: Origins,' 'Poppa’s House,' and 'The Neighborhood' – would resume production on closed sound stages under strict monitoring. Cast and crew unable to return due to fire impacts will still receive their regular pay. Other shows, including ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' are also set to restart filming. The wildfires have caused significant destruction and evacuations, with homes lost and community impacts felt deeply among residents and industry personnel. Paramount Global, CBS's parent company, is providing support to first responders and families affected by the fires.
