Shooting Kills One, Injures Another at Newton NC Motorcycle Club

A shooting at the Outlaw Motorcycle Clubhouse in Newton, North Carolina, early Sunday morning left one person dead and another critically injured. Police responded to gunfire reports around 2:09 a.m. and found two victims with gunshot wounds at the scene. The deceased died at the hospital, while the other victim was airlifted to a medical center in Charlotte and remains in critical condition. The Newton Police Department has not released the identities of the victims and has made no arrests yet. Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, are assisting with the investigation. Authorities have secured the scene, assured there is no immediate threat to the public, and requested people avoid the area as the investigation continues.
