South Dakota Employee Faces Charges for Child Exploitation Related to Amber Alert

Mohammad Ghosheh, a 24-year-old employee of the South Dakota Department of Social Services, was arrested on multiple charges, including 11 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor. The investigation began after a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a missing 15-year-old girl from North Carolina, with whom Ghosheh allegedly had contact. Authorities discovered disturbing evidence, including a 'sex kidnapping kit' found in his vehicle and child pornography on electronic devices at his home. Ghosheh has been released on a $10,000 cash bond and is scheduled for a court appearance next month. The investigation is ongoing, and further charges may be filed as new evidence emerges. Ghosheh is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
