Senators' Josh Norris sidelined weeks with injury

Ottawa Senators forward Josh Norris is expected to miss a few weeks due to a mid-body injury sustained during Saturday's 6-0 victory over the Minnesota Wild. He left the game with five minutes remaining after taking hits from Jakob Lauko and Declan Chisholm, having recorded a shorthanded goal and two shots in 16:34 of ice time. Norris ranks second on the Senators with 19 goals and has accumulated 31 points in 50 games this season. He did not travel with the team for their upcoming road trip to Nashville. Meanwhile, forward Nick Cousins will be sidelined for several months following knee surgery after an injury sustained in a previous game.
