Multiple US Theaters Offer Free Summer Performances, Events

Several theaters across the United States are offering diverse cultural experiences this July, including free and ticketed events. The Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville is participating in Pluto TV's Free Movie Weekend, showcasing classic films like 'Hook' and 'Jumanji' for free to encourage attendance at independent cinemas, with additional festivities leading up to its Blobfest. San Antonio's Majestic and Empire Theaters have a packed schedule featuring musicals, concerts, and comedy, including performances by Steve Earle, Joe Pera, and Air Supply, with tickets available for purchase. The South Carolina New Play Festival offers free performances and readings featuring Broadway actors, though some special events require paid tickets. The Legacy Theater in Carthage presents two free shows in July: performances by the Nauvoo Pageant Bagpipe Band and Dancers and Belgium's Symbolica Flag Dancers, both relying on donations.
