The study analyzed over 57,000 reviews across 10,000 restaurants, revealing that Shake Shack received the highest number of complaints regarding its pricing. Five Guys and Sugar Factory followed closely behind as the second and third most expensive chains. Customers have expressed frustration over rising fast food prices, with burgers at Shake Shack costing $7.79 and fries at $4.49, while Five Guys burgers range from $8.89 to $13.09. The study also highlighted that celebrity-owned restaurants, such as those by Gordon Ramsay, are often perceived as overpriced. Overall, the findings reflect a growing discontent among diners regarding fast food pricing amidst inflationary pressures.
