Penn State Adds Campbell, Lamah, and Pena

Penn State football has strengthened its roster for the 2025 season by landing transfer linebacker Amare Campbell, who joined after decommitting from North Carolina and brings two years of eligibility. Campbell posted 76 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and 10.5 tackles for loss in 2024, addressing a critical need following the departure of Ta'Mere Robinson to USC. He is expected to make an immediate impact in a linebacker group that struggled with depth after spring losses. In addition to Campbell, Penn State added former Syracuse wide receiver Trebor Pena as a transfer. The program also secured a future commitment from three-star 2026 linebacker Mathieu Lamah, ranked No. 42 nationally at his position.
