DeSean Jackson to Lead Delaware State Football

The agreement comes after Jackson's recent on-campus interview, and he is expected to assume the role soon, succeeding Lee Hull. Jackson, known for his speed and playmaking ability, had a 15-year NFL career, predominantly with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he made three Pro Bowl appearances. Delaware State, an HBCU, has faced challenging seasons recently, with a 1-11 record in 2024, prompting the program to seek revitalization through Jackson's hiring. This decision follows the trend of HBCUs appointing former NFL players, with Michael Vick also recently joining Norfolk State as head coach.
