Rajasthan Government Plans Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit

Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has announced a Rs 100 crore budget for developing the Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit, which aims to enhance tourism while preserving the region's heritage. The circuit will connect various historical sites linked to Maharana Pratap, with plans for public collaboration in its development. Additionally, the Shri Krishna Gaman Path, a new religious circuit connecting significant sites related to Lord Krishna across Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, was introduced to boost religious tourism and local economies. Spanning approximately 800 kilometers, this initiative will promote over 30 temples and is expected to attract domestic tourists amidst declining international travel due to geopolitical tensions. Stakeholders in the tourism sector are optimistic that both projects will create employment opportunities and bolster local businesses, drawing comparisons to successful initiatives in other states. The growing interest in Indian history and culture among the youth is seen as a positive sign for these tourism efforts.
