Nairobi Man Arrested with Wife's Dismembered Body Parts in Huruma

Police in Huruma, Nairobi, arrested 29-year-old John Kiama Wambua after discovering dismembered human body parts in a bag he was carrying during a routine patrol on January 21. Wambua confessed that the remains belonged to his 19-year-old wife, Joy Fridah Munani, and led officers to his home, where more body parts and a blood-stained kitchen knife were found hidden beneath a bed. The crime scene showed signs of a violent struggle, with blood stains evident on the floor. The body parts have been transferred to the City Mortuary for postmortem analysis as investigations continue to establish the motive behind the murder. Wambua is currently in police custody, with the case pending in court under reference CR 126/12/2025, handled by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations. Authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward.
