Former Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy Assassinated in Lviv

Andriy Parubiy, former Speaker of Ukraine's parliament and a key figure in the 2013-2014 Euromaidan protests, was assassinated in broad daylight in Lviv. The shooter, disguised as a delivery courier and fleeing the scene on an electric bicycle, fatally shot Parubiy, who died at the scene. President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the killing as a horrific murder and assured that all necessary forces are engaged in the investigation and manhunt for the assailant.
