Linda Fire Near Vacaville Halts Growth at 111 Acres, 50% Contained

The Linda Fire, a vegetation fire in Solano County north of Vacaville, rapidly grew to about 111 acres before firefighters stopped its forward progress on Friday afternoon. The fire was 50% contained by Saturday morning, and no additional threats to structures have been reported since containment efforts advanced. The origin of the fire was revised from Linda Vista Lane to Estate Drive, located between Interstate Highway 505 and Pleasants Valley Road.
