HEALTH has released the 'Rat Wars Ultra Edition', an expanded version of their 2023 album, featuring a new collaboration with Filter titled 'Free to Die', which includes vocals from Filter's Richard Patrick. The Ultra Edition also features previously released tracks such as 'Ashamed' with Lauren Mayberry and a cover of Deftones' 'Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)'. The latest track showcases a blend of echo-heavy guitar and industrial beats, creating an anthemic sound despite its bleak lyrics. Originally released in December 2023, 'Rat Wars' received positive reviews for its personal and brutal approach, with collaborations from artists like Lamb Of God and Godflesh. HEALTH, known for their evolving sound from noise rock to melodic industrial tones, is currently on tour in Europe. Filter, led by Patrick, recently released 'The Algorithm', their first album in seven years, last August.
