Attendees, such as international relations student Ignace Urchil Lokouako Mbouamboua, expressed surprise upon learning the beer's origin, with some humorously dubbing it 'sewage beer'. Singapore, a leader in water management, employs various strategies to secure water, including recycling and desalination, as it lacks natural water sources. With demand expected to double by 2065, the display underscores the urgent need for sustainable water solutions in densely populated regions. NEWBrew represents one of many climate-related innovations featured at COP29.
