A separate charge concerning interest payments for their new stadium remained unresolved but has now been dropped following the club's submission of further documentation. The Premier League Board concluded it was not appropriate to pursue this second charge, effectively closing all proceedings. This outcome allows Everton, currently 16th in the league, to focus on their current season without additional penalties.
