This marks the fourth consecutive year that the chain has closed on Boxing Day, emphasizing its commitment to supporting staff well-being and family time during the festive period. In contrast, LL Flooring has decided to shut down all its locations nationwide after filing for bankruptcy, with closure sales beginning immediately; this follows an initial plan to close only select stores in New Jersey. Additionally, Homebase has closed its last store in Northampton after 30 years, with plans for the site to be redeveloped by the landlord. Meanwhile, a Tesco Express in March, Cambridgeshire, is transitioning to a Budgens store after a brief closure for refurbishment.
