Jamie xx has collaborated with The Avalanches for a new single titled 'All You Children', which will be featured on his upcoming sophomore album 'In Waves', set for release on September 20. The track showcases Jamie xx's signature club sound, blending choral samples with pulsating basslines, and marks a reunion with The Avalanches, who previously worked with him on 'Wherever You Go'. Jamie xx praised The Avalanches' innovative sampling techniques, which he found inspiring during their collaboration. 'All You Children' follows other singles from the album, such as 'Baddy on the Floor,' 'Treat Each Other Right,' and 'Life' featuring Robyn. In support of the album, Jamie xx will perform at various festivals and headline shows, including two dates at London's Alexandra Palace. His residency series, 'The Floor', has also recently concluded in New York, with plans for a continuation in Los Angeles.
