Liverpool Unveils Retro-Inspired Third Kit Featuring 1990s Crest

Liverpool FC and adidas have unveiled the club's new third kit for the 2025-26 season, featuring a sea green design inspired by classic kits from the late 1980s to early 1990s. The kit marks the return of the adidas Originals Trefoil logo on a Liverpool jersey for the first time in over three decades, paired with the club's heritage crest used between 1987 and 1992. The retro-inspired kit includes white shorts with green detailing and green socks, available in short-sleeve, long-sleeve, and a newly cropped version. Adidas senior design director Juergen Rank emphasized that the design celebrates Liverpool's rich history while maintaining a modern edge, appealing both on the pitch and in the stands. Alongside the third kit, Liverpool also released a striking all-black goalkeeper kit featuring the Trefoil logo, as well as a wider clothing collection including training wear, fashion items, and a custom Gazelle shoe. The new kits are now available globally through official Liverpool FC stores and online channels, with a discount offered to All Red Members.
