Paula Abdul has announced the cancellation of her 'Straight Up! To Canada Tour' due to recent injuries that require a minor surgical procedure and a recovery period of 6-8 weeks. The 62-year-old singer expressed her disappointment in an Instagram post, stating that while targeted injections provided temporary relief, the demands of touring were too great. The tour was set to kick off on September 25 in Victoria, British Columbia, and had stops planned across Canada, as well as in Alaska and North Dakota. Abdul extended her heartfelt apologies to her fans, emphasizing their importance to her and promising to return stronger. Refunds for purchased tickets will be processed according to the point of sale. The announcement follows her recent performances with New Kids on the Block earlier this summer.
