Cosm to Open Immersive Sports Venue in Detroit

A new entertainment venue featuring an 87-foot LED dome is set to open in downtown Detroit's Cadillac Square, thanks to a partnership between Bedrock and Cosm. The venue, which aims to revolutionize sports viewing, will offer immersive experiences that blend virtual and physical elements, making fans feel as if they are at live events. Scheduled to break ground in 2025, Cosm Detroit will include a multi-level market hall with diverse dining options and host programming in conjunction with major sports networks such as the NBA and NFL. This project is part of Bedrock's larger $1.5 million development initiative designed to enhance downtown Detroit's vibrancy. Cosm, which has previously launched venues in Los Angeles and Dallas, views Detroit as an ideal location due to its strong sports culture. The venue's design will be overseen by local architecture firm Rossetti, aiming to reflect Detroit's cultural heritage.
