Multiple Community Choirs Recruit New Singers for 2025 Fall Seasons

Several community choirs across the U.S. are actively recruiting new members for their upcoming fall and winter seasons, offering opportunities for singers of all ages and experience levels. The Pembroke Community Choir invites singers to join for a program featuring John Rutter’s Christmas music, including a performance of "Magnificat," with rehearsals beginning in September and concerts in late November. The Galesburg Community Chorus, celebrating its 80th anniversary, will rehearse from August and host concerts featuring American composers, including an event with multiple local choirs, with no auditions required. The Oldbury Salvation Army choir welcomes all ages to join festive rehearsals culminating in a December performance supporting a Christmas Toy Appeal. Madisonville Community College Singers, open to high school students and adults without audition or music reading requirements, will resume rehearsals in September, with a free community Christmas concert planned for December. Meanwhile, the Danville Children’s Choir is recruiting children from third grade and up, offering a free introductory Songfest and tuition scholarships to ensure accessibility for all interested children.
